BONO GETS ON MY NERVES!!!

As much as I like U2s music, Bono gets on my nerves!! He has 2 b in on everything, doesnt he??

WTF is he doing on this anti-Bush tour with Bruce Springsteen, etc.????? shocked shocked shocked

Hes not even American, so he should have no affiliated interests with either political party and he certainly cant vote!!!!!

When I lived in the USA, I was under Resident Alien status, so I was not allowed 2 vote!! I could only vote if I became a full Naturalized Citizen!!!

To me, hes just a very self-opinionated asshole, who likes 2 b involved in everything political and humanitarian for his own self-glorification and to keep himself in the limelight!!!

Glad I got this off my chest!!!! lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

The president of the USA is not just important to USA citizens you know, seeing that the current one has quite a tendency to mess in affairs outside of the USA. Don't get pissed off at Bono voicing his opinion just because you weren't able to vote!
Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Well first off, Bono's been living in this country on and off for years.

And you must remember that the reason he got into the business in the first place is because of the issues he was passionate about. And nothing's changed. He uses his name and his influence to make a difference instead of jumping on the trendy charity of the month that seems a prerequisite for most celebrities. I saw, more power to him.

Gold:

I commend him for his charitable efforts in Africa. However, I agree with you about him not having a right in dipping his nose in our political affairs.

anyone seen the achtung baby tour? how about the numerous benefit concerts he's done? are you just now realizing that bono has an interest international politics. just because he's a musician does not mean he can't be involved in the world's politics. i don't always agree with him but, in this day and age of a global market, hes got every right to get involved.

as do you.

You go,Bono! Help us get Bush out of office lol

I applaud Bono for taking a stand and supporting causes that mean alot to him. Some people feel that artists should just stick to singing and don't dare try to have a point of view.Bono ain't having that, lol.

I am not from the USA and I never lived there, but I am still very concerned about President Bush's possible re-election. It affects all our lives no matter if we are Americans or not. If I were a celebrity I damn sure would try to help end Bush's presidency, so props to Bono worship. I just wish that Prince would be like him, but in fact he does not even vote himself, it really is sad that some people just can see that they have a responsibility and that pseudo polititic lyrics won't help sad
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

So will you support the withdrawal of US companies from Ireland and the rest of the world so Bono (and the rest of us) don't need to be effected anymore?
