What makes a great guitarist? paligaps thread got me thinking: what makes a great guitarist besides being able to play?
for me..i dunno i just really started getting into the whole guitar thing..but i think its passion. i think if u can make me feel what ur playin and have me playin air guitar right along wit cha then ur great. what do yall think? Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

Skill is obviously important, but just as crucial is feel and style. YOUR OWN STYLE. Develop that and you'll be o.k. Play from your heart, your soul. You do that, and you can never go wrong. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

To take your soul and pour it through an instrument so the audience feels it, then the energy that comes from the audience is picked up by the musician and the it starts all over again. IMO
