I need to get the remastered version.
"It's Too Late" is beautifully heartbreaking. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Man, I was raised on Tapestry as well.
No favorite tracks-just the whole thing. That's a piece of art right there. You feel her emotions-every one. Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, etc.-between Carole and Joni Mitchell-that's the template right there. Carole's incredible, and love the fact she's written quite a few Motown songs as well if I'm not mistaken. One Fine Day to name just one. Such a prolific songwriter. She's definitely somebody I think most people would be surprised she's behind much more than just Tapestry. Great choice Finess!

Come on player, hell yeah. I was hip to this album when I was around 7 years old. My mom used to play it a lot. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

gonna have to dust this oldie but goodie off and give it a listen. Audience, you're right there's absolutely no filler on this album. I'm gonna have to revise my all-time perfect album list once more.

I think she was one of the few female singer/songwriters who could be emotional and open without being wimpy or treacly.

Are there any husband and wife teams that have the comparable songwriting resume's of Gerry Goffin/Carole King and Nick Ashford/Valerie Simpson? This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Probably don't have comparable numbers but these duos have probably cranked out a few. Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil: You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' On Broadway (You're My) Soul and Inspiration Kicks We Gotta Get Out of This Place Here You Come Again Just Once Don't Know Much Never Gonna Let You Go Somewhere Out There Burt Bacharach & Carol Bayer Sager: (while they were married) Stronger Than Before That's What Friends Are For On My Own tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
