As for Rebbie's whereabouts, she pulled an Anita Baker (took time off to raise her kids), but she never came back. Rebbie had loads of talent. I wish she would've stuck around. I'd love to see her, Janet, Michael ruling the charts simultaneously. Musically, one can never hate on the Jackson family.

i vaguely remember seein the video for "centipede" on BET way back when...haven't heard the song since then, but i do remember liking the song. 'twas funky.

Reminds me of the story about Chubby Checker remaking "The Twist" numerous times over the years.

If I'm not mistaken, she also did a cover version of Prince's "I Feel For You" but during the same year as Chaka Khan's version was released. Of course we know whose version became a huge hit for her.

I always thought what would this song sound like if Vanity sang it...the beat sounds like something that could have been on "Wild Animal".

The chorus to this song is incredible.
