She was on Conan or Letterman or Leno (one of 'em, anyway...all the same to me) a few nights ago blabbing about Collateral and her "amazing" opportunity to tour with Britney (!). Anyways, she seemed completely out of it. Lay off the blow, Jada!

She's on the cover of EBONY and in the magazine she talks about her new band. Now, if Will Smith records suck, you know it's gonna be double with Jada [ears bleeding after thinking of the Will & Jada duet "1,000 Kisses"]. They make the corniest music.

Aiight. But that's hardly a track record of success. Pinkett herself said that she played (or will play) overseas because they're more open-minded over there. If nothing else, she's right about that when it comes to certain music.

Just to put this little tidbit of info into perspective for the folks outside of L.A., The Grove is a shopping center. So, it's just like Tiffany performing at malls back in the day. Plus, it was free gig, Wicked Wisdom ain't fillin' any venues.

I get so confused by the posts on this site.

Jada has the means and opportunity to do this band...who gives a fuck if it blows or not. She's getting a band off the ground. lawdy..... Its something she wants to do but the one thing I do know about Jada is that she's not some airhead. We may not care for her "mickey mouse/disneyland" sorta relationship with Will BUT they are doing their thing....no baby momma drama, positive attitudes, etc.

you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Actually, I don't think we'd be laughing if she hadn't bothered.

Probably because not many have heard it. According to her it's more on the rock side of r&b than straight up r&b. It appears she's out of her element (and NO, for the knee jerk reactionaries I don't mean because she's not playing r&b). But that shouldn't surprise anybody.

I've heard them and it is just one of those things where people like Jada become too pretentious you know? wanting everyone to think they're so deep and any real discerning person can see the fakeness and total lack of depth for lack of better words. it's not good music and the message is cliche. It's not relevant no need whatsoever for that music.

lol my point was is that they have been heard about here and there and it's not as if they hadn't perfomed gigs before. Most bands have been out for a while before they get noticed
