no, it's the last track on Vespertine.

i've decided, today, that it will be played at the closing of my wedding ceremony, as my man and i make our way out of the venue. i let him know about 15 minutes ago. he seemed receptive thumbs up!

Easily. In my all-time top 5 by anyone. There's magic in that album.

Oh yes. It's a spiritual experience. Unison is one of the best songs ever. It also sounds great acoustically.

I really want to like Kate Bush, but it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe I haven't been exposed to the right things or in the right way. But I just don't get her. I haven't been able to cross that line from interest to appreciation. I know everyone says, "go buy Hounds of Love". But if I don't like any of the songs I've heard by her so far, why would I go spend money on it? Sorry to rain on your parade Cloudy. I really DO want to like her.

Hasn't happened with me either. Although someone burned me a mix CD and included a Kate Bush track and I was rockin away to it. It was a great song nod Don't remember the title tho hmmm

And I'm ashamed to admit I hardly ever listened to Vespertine. I lifted a couple tracks off it when I first got it and used them in mix CDs but I filed it away. Gonna have to dig it up. I have a feeling I'm gonna discover this album....

This might sound weird, but her music is seasonal. Kinda like Christmas music doesn't sound right outside of late fall or the begining of the year. If you match each album to the right season you'll make more since out of it.

You mean partialEST.

As I try to tell you freaklisters EVERY TIME I have different faves per minute, so to speak.
The last half year Vespertine has become the soundtrack of my grief, so to speak; play it all of the time.

And Unison. Har! Woohoo. MEEPMEEP. I like it.

Yeah, that's the one. lol

Why? Just 'cos I think it's the most magical piece of music that I've heard that manages to fit within the confines of a pop song. Something about the drumming, the strings and the chanting makes me go all... cloud9

It's just my opinion, tho'. wink

eye like Enya, she's a talented pianist and singer... but 4 some reason eye used 2 b a huge Enya fan... eye even bought the box set. eye don't know what possessed me. eye heard it again during meditation at school once -- eye never realised how corny it was.

why am eye talking all npg-music-club like? don't ask me.
