Bjork.... "Unison" could this possibly be the most beautiful piece of pop music ever created? "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you."

no, it's the last track on Vespertine. i've decided, today, that it will be played at the closing of my wedding ceremony, as my man and i make our way out of the venue. i let him know about 15 minutes ago. he seemed receptive "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you."

I really want to like Kate Bush, but it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe I haven't been exposed to the right things or in the right way. But I just don't get her. I haven't been able to cross that line from interest to appreciation. I know everyone says, "go buy Hounds of Love". But if I don't like any of the songs I've heard by her so far, why would I go spend money on it? Sorry to rain on your parade Cloudy. I really DO want to like her.

I really DO want to like her. Hasn't happened with me either. Although someone burned me a mix CD and included a Kate Bush track and I was rockin away to it. It was a great song Don't remember the title tho And I'm ashamed to admit I hardly ever listened to Vespertine. I lifted a couple tracks off it when I first got it and used them in mix CDs but I filed it away. Gonna have to dig it up. I have a feeling I'm gonna discover this album.... 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I really DO want to like her. This might sound weird, but her music is seasonal. Kinda like Christmas music doesn't sound right outside of late fall or the begining of the year. If you match each album to the right season you'll make more since out of it.

It has a special place in my heart, as Vespertine is prob my favest Bjork album EVER. And that song is my favest on that album. favest! I thought you were partial to Homogenic though? You mean partialEST. As I try to tell you freaklisters EVERY TIME I have different faves per minute, so to speak. The last half year Vespertine has become the soundtrack of my grief, so to speak; play it all of the time. And Unison. Har! Woohoo. MEEPMEEP. I like it.

Christ! Kate compared to Enya? I could mention that Bjork sounds like a dying cat being buggered by an elephant, but... Oops! I just did. Love Bjork, tho'. She's cool. And I'm looking forward to the new album.

Just 'cos I think it's the most magical piece of music that I've heard that manages to fit within the confines of a pop song. Something about the drumming, the strings and the chanting makes me go all... It's just my opinion, tho'.

Emule has Medulla (the whole album) to download now. I must control myself, but I'm tempted to do it. I hope I have to courage not to d.l it and just wait for it to actually come out. I'm excited to see what all of the artwork is gonna look like. Emule is so evil. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
