Alison Kraus

Hey

I've been listening to Alison quite a lot lately and i just wanted to know if anyone else her is into her music. Is it just me or does she have the best voice in music today? Saw cold mountain the other day and her contributions to the soundtrack were awsome...gonna be picking that one up one of these days.

Alison Krauss has a great voice, but she's a lot more than that. She's an amazing musician, and, I think, one of the best producers working today. Her last album with Union Station was excellent, and she's done great work with Nickel Creek and a host of others as well.

Your John Kerry avatar aside, I have to agree that I really like her voice. Best voice in music today? I don't know about that, but hse does have a lovely sound. She reminds me of a young Dolly Parton.
