I hope u guys can refresh my memory and think of some more.....I wish there was a programme made showing these music artists endorsed ads again.....

product endorsements by musicians just irritate the hell out of me. But hey, I hate corporate advertising in general, so.....
What irritates me even more, however, is when a respectable artist allows their music to be used in commercials. I think about some of the songs that mean so much to me and I would be so sad if these important songs were mocked by being turned into car commercials. I don't ever want my wedding song to be associated with a Saturn commercial. Sorry; this kinda stuff just makes me bitter. Respectable artists just shouldn't lower themselves to doing corporate advertising. David Bowie??? Come on! Leave that crap to Britney and Christina. Sorry.....rant over. Leave your brothers and sisters in the sea" "If U had the chance 2 see the future would U try?"

The Volkswagon commercials of a few years back tapped into some fairly hip music - I thought Stereolab and Spiritualized were used very effectively.
I can't recall the products being promoted, but Polyphonic Spree's Reach for the Sun and Galaxy 500's Instrumental were used in commercials - the Galaxy 500 commercial dates back several years.

Da, da, da... Yeah they were cool. "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

I can't think of any right now. But my favorite station at Vh1.com is "Pop for Sale." And one of my favorite commercials in the 80s was one for Perugina chocolates. The synth music sounded a lot like "Let's Pretend We're Married."

I remember some Pepsi ad where MJ runs up to the roof of his concert venue and leaps up to helicopter... it was wild...

The Jimi Hendrix/Pepsi ad was super cheesy.
So cheesy in fact they didn't even have him purchase the guitar he's most associated with...a Stratocaster. They had him cop a Telecaster. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."
