NPG's Fifth album

Don't you know that there will be a fifth album this year from the NPGMC ???eek (justkidding)lol
It could be called : A tribute to my heroes and Prince covers all his favorite stuff...
What would you put on this album....
Here you go...

The Temptations - Just my imagination
Joni - A case of you
The Stones - Miss you
Sly Stone - Everyday people
Curtis Mayfield - People get ready
Aretha Franklin - Doctor Feelgood
James Brown ...

Your turn now

Helllooo ... (listens to crickets chirping) ... Can I get my piece in?! Hate to see a thread go to waste. I'd say you'd have to add "Someday We'll All B Free," by Donnie Hathaway. BUUUT, I would love to hear him sing "I Love You (More Than You'll Ever Know)," by Hathaway. It's reminiscent of when Prince could take you to chu'ch for the evening, i.e. with songs like Still Would Stand All Time. (WELL.) ... "U got'ta sing it from HERE Anna Mae!" Yeah. I think Prince would freak a beautiful rendition of that one. PEACE

Ok,this might sound weird but I always wanted him to do "Touch the Hem of His Garment" by Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers.

Or (360 here) how about "Fight the Power" by the Isley Bros?

hiw about stretching him with 'Hit me with ur (diamond encrusted) rhythm stick' by Ian Dury and the Blockheads?
It's funky, just in a different way to prince.
