I've never tried to describe my favorite style of music, here's a little of what I came up with;

Funk is a beat that is on the 2 and 4 but just a little before the 4.

Funk is that face you make when you hear "Pass the Peas"

Funk is not just music but the feeling of wanting to dance and laugh at the same time

Funk really can't be described and must be experienced

Funk is an unwaivering rythym at it's core while needing to just scream at the top of your lungs

Funk is something that most people don't understand until they're in it

Funk IS NOT DISCO

Funk is not being played on the radio enough

Funk is not what bands are playing and calling funk

Funk is not something that a certain look can give you, it must be earned with music
