I've had sexual relations with a Les Paul for some years now and jam with a bassist who digs Miles Davis (or Paul Chambers on Kind Of Blue) way too much at the moment....I'm beginning to play the guitar like a damn trumpet!
Guitar's in my dreams, but I need to play her better before she really appreciates me...anyhow, I'll soon be learning a 'spoons' version of Maggot Brain so I can claim all the real life chicks when I land a world tour! I play "The Shit". I invented it when I was a wee SexLovely all them(2)years ago.....what U do is U stamp hard on some shit and it makes a tuneful, squirty sound.

well....  began playing the violin when i was 6....haven't played it in several years, but i still remember how...somehow lol.... am currently teaching myself to play the guitar and keys..... would love to learn to play (and own, lol) the/a saxophone, xylophone, and drums

I started out on drums and have taught myself keyboards and a little guitar. I can't sing a note though. I really want to learn bass so I can play 777-9311 and Let's Work before I die! ______________________________________________

I've got a bachelor's degree in music education, and I'm a pianist and singer. But it is really true that you can't write a good song unless you've got a guitar player around! In other words, it is much easier to write a song on guitar than on piano (IMO). | |

I'm a singer, songwriter, musician. I play guitar, keyboard, and a little drums. I'm inspired by Prince's funky arrangements and Cher's deep soulful voice so my music is kind of a combination of the two. | |

I was in a cover band as background singer and also making noise with diffrent rythmus instruments. I've been called musicien, actress and artist, dancer (this is longer since) so I accept this very well:)
Most I did play with was Afro-Rock and Reagge music, latin also a bit and when I'm alone (or feel like that) I use to karaoke to Aerosmith, Miriam Makeba and and and. At the moment I'm also here jobless, but it is a creative brake;) I LOVE MUSIC! | |

I didn't realize that there were 2 of these threads going around until now...
but hi! I'm Nikki(Nicole is my real name) I'm a singer-opera,r&b,pop, rock..just about anything you could think up...I have probably sang it once...or at least tried..but I'm a vocal performance major(opera)at Stephen F. Austin State University I'm a songwriter and poet--I love to write songs I play the keys fairly well,that's how I write my songs,and I play the guitar ,but I suck at it right now...so I don't play the guitar that often... I used to dance(ballet,tap,jazz,bellydancing,etc...)but I've been retired from that for almost a year now. As far as influences go...of course I love Prince with an intense passion,but I have an influence in just about every genre of music you could think of(my mom's a musician also). Right now I'm working on producing my own demo and getting it heard..so in a little while..I will more than likely have something up on a website 4 y'all 2 hear!!! Org note me if you want a singer or if you just wanna talk about our Little Purple man!
