Listening to the haunting melody of Great Expectations by Miles Davis on Big Fun.
To me it sounds perfectly normal, but I could imagine it sounding spooky to some.

Especially the sudden accent at the end of the phrase.

Oh, and "Torture" too. And spookiest of all -- "Centipede" by Rebbie. Yep, the Jacksons - A Spooky Family. But I love 'em.

I know what the song is about, but it's sounds scarey the way Three Dog Night did it. I'd like to hear Laura Nyro's original version.

And then there's their version of Randy Newman's "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)." The chorus isn't spooky, but these verses sorta tend to be:

Oh add You ain't done nothing! by Stevie Wonder. I feel like dialing 911 everytime I hear that song.

I think that song Dueling Banjos would send chills up my spine if I heard while I was camping somewhere out in the backwoods.

Annie Christian was a spooky song to me..I didn't like it then and I sure stay away from it now!
