"Ode to Billy Jo"--Bobbie Gentry (haunting)

"Immigrant Song"--Led Zeppelin (Years ago I was watching the Gong Show and one of the acts were these people dressed up as space aliens. They performed to this song. It was so eerie; whenever I think of this song it reminds me of that performance. *shudder*)

"Tubular Bells" (Exorcist theme)

Before you write this one off...please know that I am NOT a fan of this singer but this song does have a dark/spooky tone to it...

"Everytime" by Britney Spears...

That wind-up toy sound in the song gives it that creepy tone...

Ooh! I thought that was just me. It's very "Hush. Hush, Sweet Charlotte" if you know what I mean.

I also find "Spinning Wheel" a bit menacing - especially Peggy Lee's version. It's almost like she's trying to conjure up the dead. It's all that "Ride a painted pony, let the spinning wheel turn" business.

Exactly!

When I hear the song...I think of twisted images of bloody headless dolls on a little girls bed....

The first time I heard the song..I was intrigued by the darkness of it. Who knew Britney would do a song like this....
Every minute of last night is on my face today....

Or something like that.

David Bowie - Future Legend

That scared the shit out of me when I first heard it as a kid.

It's not scary to me, but good pick. Here's one for ya, off of the same album "We Are The Dead"

The howling at the beginning of Future Legend was scary to me.

The intensity in that song is rather unsettling. nod

Also, as mentioned above, Pull Out The Pin, Under Ice & Waking The Witch are pretty scary.

To those, I'd add The Fog & Hello Earth. Both very atmospheric, creepy pieces. Yet both very beautiful, too. hmm
