Be sure to pick up the "Latin Legends Live" 2-CD set if you don't have it already.It contains an amazing live performance by the bands Malo,Tierra and El Chicano.The live version of "Viva Tirado" is just heavenly.

The Impalas (along with siblings Bel Air, Biscayne and Caprice) with butterfly ignitions were some of the easiest to...uhm..."borrow" back in the day in Crooklyn.
