Those people get naked, take a shower and s—t just like I do. It’s really not as deep for me as it is for everybody else.”

Does Rahsaan actually define his sexuality? “I don’t categorize myself, period,” he answered. “I don’t categorize myself as a musician, as an artist, as a sexual being—I am Rahsaan. It’s never about being secretive or denying anything; it’s just I am who I am. I don’t need to fit in or blend in with any group of anybody. That’s just who I am. I don’t feel the need to do that at all. I’m a human being like everybody else is, and I love who loves me; whoever that is. What’s real is real. It’s deeper for everybody else.”"

Call me crazy ya'll but I've alwaysed looked at Rashaan as the young male version of Chaka Khan(thanx 4 pointing that out, Tccd). He sings her phrases and PLAY his voice rather than sing his voice, just like the way Chaka does.
