Yes. I always think of that as the companion song to "Dip It Low".

Is there room enough in your car for 5? You can have the Ninas and I'll take Christina.

we could just take the limo.....and christina should bring along some pizza rolls and 40's for us to snack on.

lmao.

And the Ninas can bring some Ben & Jerry's and a fruit basket. Yum. biggrin

I was rooting for her til she went the "ho" route. Have you seen her Beyonce impression on her new video?

omg...you are my org best friend....cuz...i wa thinking the same thing...like..when did she start hanging at the strip club...

So I turn to MTV Hits b/c I hadn't heard the song or seen the vid & whaddayaknow - it comes on within 2 minutes lol The song is SO average, not memorable for me...

As far as her going the "ho" route - seems that's the only route they wanna push women in these days. And we're (women are) going for it like fools, Black women in particular.

I wonder what people who live in places void of Blacks must think of Black women? I mean, if their primary image of Black women is video chicks, slutty "singers" & the occasional movie ho, you know? hmmm disbelief

Of course thats not the reason you are haters. Its how you go about saying what you do and when you say it in a more mature tone, it becomes agreeable. I dont know Ms. Milian personally or anything like that so thats not the reason Im defending her. I just think that it's not that crucial to slam the girl before she has a chance to make some sort of impact on the music scene. The way she is now, she had to make a break into the industry if she wanted to be a star and SEX SELLS. shrug If most of us hasnt figured this out now, then I dont know what to tell you.
Anyway, the album is cute, she's a beautiful girl with a cute voice, give her time, maybe she'll come around.

You're right. I should have phrased my statement a little more tactfully but I will still disagree with part of your above statement: I will not take the excuse for her showing skin as breaking her way into the industry. There are many women that have done so without that.

Ok. nod This is true. There are plenty of females who have made it into the industry without all of the showing skin but this is the new school crowd and its all about sex...sex...sex. It sicken me as well, I dont condone, Im just saying that I understand where she's coming from by changing her look and sexing it up. She probably has plenty of folk around her saying "Your a gorgous girl and you should flaunt it while you have it."

It's funny you mentioned that last part: I was on my way home from work yesterday and I was thinking the exact same thing about her, Britney and others. That folks are whispering in their ears about sexing it up. You could tell from Britney's interview with Diane Sawyer last year that it was something she really didn't want to do.

And to add on what the Orger said, this girl been trying to break into the industry since 98 when she sung on that Jah-Rule crap....she basically got caught up in industry politrickin....as far as the album, couldn't tell you...her track record speaks of nothing I would be intrested in....besides the industry has become very tricky lately in releasing one good song on an album full of otherwise garbage....my days of frivilously spending on music only to be disappointed are over, so I anxiously await the arrival of Jilly from Philly.....now she has yet to dissapoint me.

Everytime I hear that slogan, "Sex sells", I counter it with, "Why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free?" The only reason guys want these girls is for sex...I doubt any man would give two shits about her personality after watching that video. She comes off as being an easy lay in the video to me, which is exactly why I use that "Cow" expression. These broads (sorry, I have hard time calling them women at times) just teach girls to be self-conscious of their bodies and help drag women back into the dark ages...ya know, back before we could vote and we were looked at like sheep in a field. I don't buy any of their stuff, because I want this stupid little trend, to carry it's ass where it belongs....off of regular television and into the pages of Playboy and/or porn videos. They need to stop being fuckin' teases and just get the shit over with. Why be modest now? She was pretty before she did this "ho makeover". That doesn't mean she's a ho, but she's not exactly someone that I would call a strong woman either. I doubt her goal with this album was to be viewed as just a nice piece of ass with an okay song. Plus, to whoever made that idiot comment about people being "haters", seriously, grow up. The girl did change her image to a more ho-like one. I've seen prostitutes wearing more clothes than she has on in that video. Oh, and the mud, chocolate syrup, poo-poo butter-wrestling just put the nail in the coffin and labeled her as a ho in the eyes of many people. Just like Christina Aguilera still has the "slut" moniker for wearing the chaps. I'm not calling her a ho; I'm saying she's dressing ho-ish, which is the truth. If that makes me or anyone else on here a hater, than that's just the way the cookie crumbles I guess, because I call it as I see it.
