Keiths vids wern't that good really.....no good dancing or nothin'!

I remember the "I want her" clip they sometimes still show.....it's a performace of him singing it wearing some green outfit and very tight leather pants! The keyboardist is way funny at the back.....

"Why me baby (remix)" with LL cool j was his best video.....

His videos weren't really memorable, though I do love some Keith Sweat.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

You are one insightful lady:
"What Mars Blackmon gave voice to was a well worn aesthetic often practiced by those men we call Soul Men. Bobby Womack, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Tyrone "Can I Change My Mind?" Davis had written veritable dissertations on the "beg" -- begging for her to come back, begging her to come home with him, begging her to drop those panties, begging, begging, begging. When Keith Sweat first emerged in 1987, nobody was ever gonna mistake him for a Soul Man -- voice too thin, little range, always two steps removed from being in tune. But damn if bruh didn't know how to beg -- somewhere in between a whine and a beg, really..."

At times it looks like 3 out of 4 had those sticks...

Michael McCary, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris & Shawn Stockman,

I think the most consistent cane-wielder is Mike McCary.
Not sure if he's the one you're talking about.
Nathan and Wanya seemed to do most of the begging.
