I love it! There's something bout the rythm that seems a bit off beat...nice & quirky.
I think Madge felt the pressure of Prince's musical genius prompting her 2 play the keyboard (quite awkwardly) on that song...she should have brought out her set of bells 2...she plays a mean cowbell on 'Holiday' ...Your coochie gonna swell up and fall apart... | |

Hell, I didn't know the song was actually released on an album, I always assumed it was bootleg. I'm going to have to go pick it up.....wait a minute.....I've got a friend that is a huge Madonna fan, I'll get his ass to burn it for me. I like the mood of this song.It sounds dark,quiet and mysterious (like several other tracks on the 'Like A Prayer' album).But I agree,it is a little too repetitive.Perhaps Prince and Maddy should have written another verse or two? They keep on repeating the same lines ("Are you wasting my time? Are you just being kind?" ) over and over.But vocally,they sound great together. | |
