How Many People Thinks That The Supremes 2000 Box Set Is The Best Supremes Compilation Ever?

I got the Supremes box set as a Christmas gift last year and as I started to unwrap the wrapper I noticed the cover was crushed velvet. Then after that, I listened to discs 1 and 2 and I was very amazed at what I was hearing. But, I was also kinda disappointed by the unreleased versions of some of the hits. I just wanted the original versions of the songs. The packaging was cool and the booklet was stunning. I wish I had recieved the Anthology instead, but I'm glad I have box set. To me, it's the most complete Supremes collection out there now. If you guys have this fabulous collection, post your opinions about it and talk about it. And oh yeah, will that velvet last for long?

This is too funny...I was going through some unlabelled videotapes last night and stumbled upon VH1 DIVAS LIVE 2000..the Diana Ross tribute...and thought about why I did not own the box set. I have everything else.
I remember that Motown released a slew of Diana/Supremes stuff that year in anticipation of what would've been the Supremes Reunion Tour (without Mary and Cindy). I picked up most of the stuff. I should check out the box set!

I'm a huge fan of Diana..despite all the drama/primadonna shit. She made beautiful muisc and I respect her so much for that. As for the other stuff....we all have our issues dont we?
Every minute of last night is on my face today....

Yeah the box set is pretty cool. You better hurry up and pick up a copy before it goes out of print.
