Lisa Loeb



One of those artist that I forget how much I really love their music until I put it on again. Simplistic, honest, sometimes fun, heartfelt. Underrated in my opinion. Anyone else a fan?

Oh... I do.

My only regret is not being able to see her pretty eyes without the glasses. She needs to come out with something new.

I have a concert of hers taped from the radio and her songs sounded better live.

I got to hang out with her after one of her promo shows at a record store.
She was upset because she accidentally left her guitar tuner behind at a mornig TV show performance on the other side of town and she and her crew needed to get to the the next venue for sound check for the big night show.
I offered to go get her tuner for her if she would wait for me at the record store. She aggreed.
I raced across town and I recovered her tuner from the TV studio and returned to the record store about 30 min. later. She waited for me! In chatting with her privately, we talked about music, recording techniques, and microphone selections. She was cool. She thanked me again for helping her out and gave me an autographed promo photo of herself.

I was an intern for Geffen back in '96 and I was able to set up a meet & greet at a show and got to chat with her. She's so damn cool and funny.

I love all her records and was just thinking about buying the REALITY BITES soundtrack re-issue with ner Lisa tracks. I think I will now!

All I can say is ahhh....

She's like the perfect "bring home to mom" girlfriend. Looks, brains, talent - something sexy about those glasses.

If you haven't guessed, I have it bad for Ms. Loeb. I'm also a fan of Dweezil Zappa's guitar playing - heard they broke up recently. They seemed like such a cool couple - even had their own cooking show on the Food network.
