They've been compared forever, but i like Madonna and her music more. I have 2 Janet albums (Control and Rhythm Nation) and though they're good, it just doesn't cut it like Madonna.
And i think Michael is the true talent in the Jacksons, but that's my opinion.

Well duh, I share the same opinion, but I own all of Janet's albums just because of my Jacksons obsession. It doesn't mean anything because I have Jermaine, Jackie, Rebbie and LaToya albums too

Jermaines solo stuff was cool.....the 80's solo like "Dynamite" "I think it's love" "I hear heartbeat" "Do u remember me"....."U said" (1991) album he did with La reid and Babyface had some killer swing on.....the title track "I dream, I dream" and of course "Word to the badd"

Have no jackie and Rebbie is the true odd one out as I really don't like her sort of music...Latoya's tracks with Full force were cool...as was "Playboy "U can count on me".....Jermaine is 3rd though after Mj and janet!

I'm just a little partial to Janet myself.

I'm sorry but I have to fall on the Janet side, thought they both have their faults. (Thin voice, lipsyncing). Maybe they are seperated at birth.

janet seems to try too hard to be sexy.

Madonna tries hard, too, but her image looks like it comes more natural to her in my opinion.

As far as music goes, I think they are equally mediocre.

I wasn't really trying to start a debate, just pointing out the pictures.

Ha, well continuing the comparison, both of those photos are so airbrushed that I've seen more realistic looking CGI animations.

though i dig Janet, Madonna is sexier IMO. Janet forces it and her sexiness seems contrived. I KNOW madonna has always had an idea of what sex is and what it's all about.

Separated at birth maybe...though only one of them bought their body parts.
