Mariah's career has nose dived since 2000.
People blame Glitter movie/soundtrack, but honestly neither are not that bad.
The movie wise girls was very good, I thought she carried that movie.
So where do you think the problem is with Mariah??

For me, #1) I think she uses sexuality to sell her music...wrong move, she is a hell of a singer and under rated song writer.

#2) the rap/street image she tries to portray, doesn't work...you can't go from Hero/dreamlover to collaborating with Jay Z and Busta flaunting a plastic body and say I am r&b/hip hop.

Solution: Put clothes back, body enhancements are nice, but leaves more to the imagination when you can't see it. She is getting up there in age, who would you rather see?? Beyonce or Mariah?? That's what I thought.

Leave the street image in the street, you can't come out like a lamb and convert in to a tiger, the public sees that and doesn't buy it.

Realize your time of having multipule #1's are over, ask Michael Jackson. It's okay, you will always be remembered for those songs.

Stop being a drama queen, by the way stop saying "all the drama i go through", who says "drama" anymore??The only "drama" you have in your life is the "drama" you create.

it was in 1997, when she went all slutty with the cameltoe and the barely-there skirts. and stopped using her voice to her fullest potential and started relying way too much on the forumulae of her previous albums, and divorced tommy mattolla, and couldn't be photographed or make a video without sitting on the lap of some rapper.....

Even though she and TOmmy mottola divorced before butterfly, i thought that CD was one of her best (next to EMotions)-it went downhill after that...she should never have let Tommy go as a manager...that was where she went wrong.
