"Heaven is 10 zillion..."
"They won't go... " "Too High" "I believe when I fall in love..." "Joy inside my Tears" These are my favorite Stevie songs! All because ofhis soul-wrenching vocals, lyrical spirituality and personal connection with ME [This message was edited Sun Aug 18 10:10:44 PDT 2002 by feltbluish] -------------------------------------------------

I am still excited about the rumors of Stevie working at Paisley Park. I've heard this a couple of times here on this site, but nothing anywhere else.
Who has info on this? This would b an incredible collaboration as I know both Prince and Stevie have a mutual respect 4 one another; plus they both play an amazing amount of instruments, they both r listed as "written, produced, arranged and performed by" on their work...it would truly b something else 2 see what they would come up with 2gether. Does anyone else have info on this, something factual? I'd really like 2 know. Much love... |

I think it's all just a rumor.Prince is always planning collaborations that never happen.Stevie is still signed to Motown/Universal and he has his own CD coming out just right before Christmas.

I would like to see him get back in2 the political swing of things...I'm sure he has much 2 say regarding 9/11 and the Iraq crap.
Another thing I'd like him 2 do is work with different artists... perhaps Quincy, Sting or Teena Marie... of course Prince would b da bomb! We can dream... can't we? |

From recent interviews he has granted, he has said that he will address those very subjects.

To respond to this, I'll have to say "My Eyes Don't Cry No More." Thanks to Supernova, I have gained an interest in him which will soon be materialized.

I'm so sorry that I couldn't stick around 4 the credits...can anyone help me? The song from 'John Q' is called "Justice of the Heart" and since there is no officially released soundtrack, the film is the only place where the song can currently be heard. I have an MP3 of it, but it's lifted straight from the film. It has a ton of reverb and movie dialogue all over it. Stevie's album is currently scheduled for a May 2003 release. It has been delayed (due to Stevie's own obsessive perfectionism) no less than eight times, so there is a good chance that it won't see the light of day until the end of 2003. Stevie won't even tell Kedar (head of Motown) Massenburg what's on it until it's done. A song called 'I Can't Imagine Love Without You' was debuted on stage in October of 2002, so it is assumed that this will make the final album. The album also contains production by Rockwilder and Raphael Saddiq. Stevie has hinted that the album may be a double disc, but he said the same thing during the reocrding of "Conversation Peace" which eventually turned out to be a single disc release. So who knows what 2003 holds for the Wonderful one? But if "Justice of the Heart", "I Can't Imagine Love...", and the songs from 'Bamboozled' are any indication, Stevie amy have another classic on his hands. -SWANGtheWonderworshipper
