I remember hearing "U R The Sunshine Of My Life" on the radio all the time a nice radio homely singalong, not of my favorite take or anything but it is listen2able.
The scariness of "Maybe You Baby". It is haunting and sad....but in a way it is kinda funky. His speeded up vocals really show his experimentation and willingness to go beyond in his music.
[color=darkblue:c73c9a4314]TUESDAY HEARTBREAK[/color]!!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG! This sounds like Prince coudda made this as some bootleg in 1986 or something. I really love the harmony arrangement, and the handclaps. I wish he let this song run for 6 minutes like the others.
Of course there is "Superstition" which i have heard 80 times already so im not gonna comment on that.
The middle eastern folk song "Big Brother" is very earthly and calm...something that can be sung at a campfire, lol. I love the lyrics; speaking about living in the ghettos, politics, and crowded housing.
"Balme It On The Sun" and "Lookin 4 Another Pure Love" i dont think i have given a chance yet because they didnt stand out at all 2 me....even the last track is just kinda so-so, but the album establishes what was going to come for Stevie. Some of the stuff on here sounds the same as the rest of the earlier albums (like the last 3 songs), but maybe it is because I have been listenin 2 Stevie's albums backwards.

I'm shocked you haven't heard this young one.

IMO, this album is the voice of god coming through Stevie. Check out "Innervisions and "Fulfillingness First Finale" as I feel the same way about these albums as well.
People like to debate which of these albums is better but it just doesn't matter to me.

I've found them all on Vinyl for dirt cheap ($1.00) at flea markets and garage sales

A common criticism of Fulfilingness' First Finale is that it's just a collection of songs. Many of the songs are great but they don't gel as well as Stevie's other '70s albums. Of course this is nitpicking. But I would rank Fullfillingness' First Finale just a shade below Talking Book and Innervisions.
