Oh yeah. It's unfortunate that his solo releases didn't do better.

He certainly played some slick guitar parts on those early Jackson 5 records.
I know I copped the rhythm licks he played on Corazon from Carol King's Fantasy album.

Some of the other interesting session work I left off of the list...

omg Didn't know he had a solo album. hmmm I'll have to check that out. I'm so accustomed to him being a session musician it never occurred to me that he might have a solo LP.
