Freddie Mercury could have done so much more outside of Queen-his voice was just that strong and powerful. Amazing musician that's deeply missed. Queen will always be one of my all-time favorites.

If you haven't seen the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, definitely check it out.

As for favorites:

Fat Bottomed Girls-Great riff, great vocal, as is typical with Queen songs.

I Want It All-Not only one of my favorite Queen songs, but ranks as one of my favorite songs period. Great use of acoustic and electric guitars that balance each other perfectly.

I Want To Break Free-Such a great song. And for those that have seen the video-hard to erase the image of them in housewife drag when you listen to this song, isn't it?

Radio Ga Ga-From the title, you'd think it'd be a simple song, but it's not. Catchy and addictive.

Somebody to Love-Shows off what Queen can do with vocals and production. Freddie shines here. Queen were master songsmiths, and here's the proof.

The Show Must Go On-Probably my favorite Queen song. Knowing what Freddie was going through that time only adds to the power of this song. I remember seeing interviews with Brian May discussing the making of this song and how Freddie was weak at this point, but would take all the energy he had and put in the vocals. Really hits you hard when you picture that. Great song.

Who Wants to Live Forever-For being the theme to the movie Highlander, or as a movie theme period-it blows others out of the water. Give me this over the "theme" from Titanic any day. Gorgeous guitar and vocal work.

Another One Bites the Dust-A classic because, well-it is.

Also add We are the Champions, Stone Cold Crazy, Get Down Make Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and so many others we need 9 other threads to even begin to hold them all.

Queen influenced many artists and Freddie Mercury was simply one of the best frontmen of all time. may he rest in peace.
pray

Ready Freddie edit.
