Damn. Way too many to list, but I'll do a few that I love (I'll even include borderline metal like Bon Jovi):
Livin on a Prayer and You Give Love a Bad Name - Bon Jovi Shake Me, Somebody Save Me and Night Songs - Cinderella Eat Me Alive - Judas Priest (this is why nobody was shocked when Rob Halford came out) You've Got Another Thing Comin - Judas Priest (actually, the whole Screaming for Vengeance album) Here I Go Again - Whitesnake Talk Dirty to Me - Poison Kiss Me Deadly - Lita Ford We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister Hysteria and Pyromania (each whole album is great) - Def Leppard Dude Looks Like a Lady - Aerosmith Panama, Hot for Teacher, Best of Both Worlds - Van Halen Metal Health - Quiet Riot Shout at the Devil, Red Hot, Looks That Kill and Too Fast for Love - Motley Crue Sweet Child o Mine (I think it's one of the greatest rocks songs), Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City - G n R 18 and Life - Skid Row Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden Skull, Mommie Can I Go out and Kill Tonight and Vampira - Misifits (they're more punk, but I'll put them here for the Danzig connection) Into the Fire - Dokken

I think there's a BIG difference between "metal" and "hair band". I really wouldn't consider bands like Poison and Def Leppard to be metal.

Danzig was metal? That's what I'm sayin'. That's not funnier than calling Poison metal, though!

Wasn't "Ace of Spades" the '80's?? Not sure...How about "She's my cherry pie"? Was that '80's or early '90's? Love that one
Smooches;) | |

Cum on Feel the Noize was covered by Quiet Riot in the early 80's
Warrant released "Cherry Pie" in 1990, but it's close enough to be 80's Ace of Base was big in the mid-90's as for favorite 80's metal song, dunno, "I Wanna be Somebody" by W.A.S.P. or "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden
