I love his version! One of my favorite MJ songs.

It's a good one. I first heard it when I saw Moonwalker back in 1989. He flubs the lyrics and it's nowhere as good as the original, but otherwise it's a keeper.

Luckily the cover is quite different to the original- but not much.....

His is tougher- verses r sung hard as it were- sounds good- funky (if very 80's) production that is quite alot different to Beatles version.....I way prefer Mikes, but then I heard (saw) his first so.....

It's harder and funkier and better than the original. He has a beautiful voice and he can emote even into the songs he has not written.

listening to it right now on Remember The Time 7" Single B Side music

The vido for it on Moonwalker is so funky too. Love the yellow shirt

I've never heard any version of this song that compares to the original.

I gotta admit, even tho i think covers are (almost) never as good as the originals, this is a nice one.

I like Mj's version too, but IMO it is not better.. It is different. But Lennon's sound to this one is unique... Aerosmith also have a cover version of it, also rock.... it that case i'd say MJ' version is better.. but better than the original?? NO WAY!

I really like it, but you can't compare it to the original, in my opinion. There are a lot of Beatles covers that I prefer to the original, though, my favorite being Fiona Apple's rendition of "Across the Universe".
