I love Eminem, but he really has been putting out some crap lately with D-12.

Radiohead & Coldplay.

OutKast, The White Stripes and The Strokes have had their moments but they're way overrated in my opinion.

No one else has struck me as anything truly great yet this decade. neutral

In no real order:

1. Me'Shell Ndegeocello

2. Beck

3. MF Doom

4. De La Soul

5. Talib Kweli

6. jazzanova

7. koop

8. Prince

9. Erykah Badu (maybe?)

10. Bebel Gilberto

Hip-hop legends that they are, and as much as I love'em, OutKast is overrated.

GangstaFam

Lots of good choices in there. Franz Ferdinand, Missy, Outkast, Strokes, etc.

There are several veterans doing among their best work of the past 5 years:

David Bowie
The Cure
Madonna
Bjork
Annie Lennox
New Order
PJ Harvey
and Prince hasn't been bad lately either.

This one I can deny. Too bad it's the only name on your list whose music makes sense to me.

How have Beyoncé, Britney or Christina altered the musical landscape at all? confuse There have been hundreds of acts just like them in the past, and there will be hundreds in the future.
