I think "You are the Quarry" is one of the best solo-records he has released.I listen to it all the time. Favorite tracks: I have forgiven Jesus, Come back to Camden, Crashing Bores, Let me kiss you.

The only really great track on Southpaw Grammar is "Dagenham Dave" IMHO.

I like his underrated (imo) 97 album better than Kill Uncle ( even if [color=blue:7ea4402a94]Driving You Girlfriend Home [/color]is fabulous) and the 95 one ( the one with Teachers Are Afraid Of The Pupils), especially Amunitions or Wide To Recieve

The Smiths were Great. I Also Loved Joy Division..And Ya know New Order... Yeah Remember morrisey said that about his Sexuality and Everybody thought he was like a VIRGIN..Same With ANDY WARHOL.. He CLAIMED To NEVER Have SEx.. But he did like all those MOVIEs WITh JOE DELLASANDRO. What Is THAT ALL ABOUT?

No, it's the worst IMNAAHO. "Southpaw Grammar" isn't to everyone's taste, admittedly, but how "Teachers Are Afraid Of The Pupils" fails to stir you I don't know.

The worst? I guess thats why it was the first single from Southpaw. "The Teachers..." could be a great song too if it wasn´t so awfully long and repetetive.


I forgot to include "Maladjusted" in my list. That would fit between "Your Arsenal" and "Beethoven was Deaf". I like the first 4 songs on that album but the rest is

Actually, I was in a local store on Saturday and I picked up "Bona Drag" for £1, simply because it was there and that it contained a few of the early singles I liked (Interesting Drug, November Spawns and International playboy). And its great. It could do with remastering, but for a pound I can't complain.

If Your Arsenal was produced by Steve Liliwhite I think it should have really been a masterpiece, anyways I love Tomorrow and Seasick
