No, Child Of Nature is the original version from John Lennon's Jealous Guy, of course different lyrics

Never heard that. Is it from the Let it Be sessions?

I believe that the song was made during the White Album sessions

Here are the lyrics from John:

On the road to Rishikesh
I was dreaming more or less,
And the dream I had was true
Yes, the dream I had was true

I'm just a child of nature
I don't need much to set me free
I'm just child of nature
I'm one of nature's children

Sunlight shining in your eyes
As I face the desert skies
And my thoughts return to home
Yes, my thoughts return to home

I'm just a child of nature
I don't need much to set me free
I'm just a child of nature
I'm one nature's children

Underneath the mountain ranges
Where the wind that never changes
Touch the windows of my soul
Touch the windows of my soul

I'm just a child of nature
I don't need much to set me free
I'm just a child of nature
I'm one of nature's children

Definitely sounds like it was written in India!

I wonder if he & Paul knew that they were writing the same type of song at the same time with very similar titles.

It actually seems a bit out of character, though.

He never struck me as much of a child of nature (though we all are when it comes down to it)

But they say he was super happy when he went there. Didn't really last, though...cut to yer blues.

Okay here are mine:

Love You To
The Inner Light
Within You Without You

Kidding. Never was a fan of George's Indian influenced songs.

My real favs are:

I'll Be Back
You're Gonna Lose That Girl
Act Naturally (cover but I love their version)
You Won't See Me
Run For Your Life
Rain
And Your Bird Can Sing
Baby You're A Rich Man
Don't Let Me Down

And probably many more, basically everything. But the above songs I especially dig.
