Every Rose Has Its Thorn: POISON Used to listen to this song a lot. Didn't really dig all that hair metal rock, though....but the song was nice. Hadn't listened to it in ages, then today at work, guess what's playing on the radio?!!!
Does anybody remember hair metal (á la Mötley Crüe, Poison, Hanoi Rocks, Winger, Britney Fox, etc.)?

Man, I used to love that song.... talk about cheesy. It does not get cheesier than 'Heaven' by WARRANT!
I had a mini hair metal phase in 1987 and really got into bands like Cinderella, Motley Crue, and Lita Ford! I was a sucker for the ballads though! Further listening... Lita Ford/Ozzy-"If I Close My Eyes Forever" Motley Crue-"Home Sweet Home" Cinderella-"Nobody's Fool" Skid Row-"When The Children Cry" and dont even get me started on Bon Jovi!!!!! I still love them!!!!!  they were going to tour with Kiss earlier this year out here to Australia...Kiss came but Poison didn't

it reminds me of every junior high dance i went to. the last song they played as they were turning on the lights, and everyone headed for the bleachers to get their coats to invariably find some mini-ho blowing some mini-stud in what was, 2 seconds prior, a dark, secluded place  "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you." | |
