Funkiest Theme Song

You can select from any show or sitcom from any era. What is the funkiest theme song you've ever heard?

It was close, and I still couldn't decide:

Living Color
Martin

The Tracy Ullman Show's "You're Thinking Right" by George Clinton. (If it's Clinton, it's got to be funky razz )

maybe not "funky" in a classic way, but I always loved Streets of San Francisco, pretty tight!

"We are Livin'....Single. In a 90's kinda world, I'm glad I got my girl"....man, I still watch re-runs of "Livin' Single" just to sing along to the theme song. Plus, the "Love Boat" theme was pretty catchy. There are soo many for me...."Family Matters", "Full House", "A Different World", and "Saved By the Bell." I still remember all of them, even though I barely ever watched these shows. I just tuned in for the theme songs and then changed the channel.

Why edit? Because, "It's my perogative." lol That Bobbie was a hoot.

Sanford and Son, definitely. When I saw this title, I couldn't think of any other tunes that come close.

Well, except the theme to I Dream Of Genie.

Barretta's Theme - Sammy Davis, Jr. version

Sanford & Son - Mom says that I used to rock to that song as a baby. It still makes me move 30 odd years later.

Diff'rent Strokes

And I always loved The Jeffersons and Good Times songs, but they were more gospel than funk.

I too am a fan of The Golden Girls, but I think the funky comment was a joke wink

As far as funky goes, I've always been partial to the Good Times theme. One of my favorite shows of all-time, and hands-down my fave theme song. I've even got the ring tone on my phone! lol
