Jimi Hendrix-Villanova Junction.... A beautiful instrumental

The most common version is the Woodstock performance that caps a long medley of Voodoo Child/Stepping Stone/Star Spangled Banner/Purple Haze/Woodstock Improvisation.

There is also an excellent unofficially released version from his last American concert in Hawaii for "Rainbow Bridge".Hopefully this one will see an officil release someday.

Im not sure if he ever got around to recording it in the studio.

Not for it's great technique, of course.
But it's one of the most influential (and one of my favorite) rock songs ever, and definitely guitar driven.

Hardcore Jollies - Funkadelic
Summer Breeze - Isley Brothers
Machine Gun - Jimi Hendrix
Volcano Rupture - Slave
Take 5 - George Benson
It's Hell - Ohio Players
