You know,I like the song "Unbreakable" but I don't think it should be released as the next single. The best thing about the 'Invincible' CD are the slower tracks, like "Heaven Can Wait" and "Break Of Dawn",not to mention the Santana collaboration "Whatever Happens".Those are the songs that would be huge hits."Unbreakable" might do a little damage,we'll see....

Yeah this situation I totally dont get, now that I have had the album about 6 months or so, its becoming clearer and clearer which songs could fly as singles-some were no brainers from the start like:
1. Butterflies 2. Break of Dawn 3. Heaven Can Wait (there shoulda been videos and singles for all three by now, they shoulda jumped on these first!) 4. HeartBreaker (also a club hottie to me that could work well in the clubs) 5. Whatever Happens (with Carlos Santana, coulda worked in some way too) Usualy MJ is the king when it comes to maxi-singles, super maxi singles and more with each album, but I agree with this one its like they've been on hold. Is that how $30 million gets played out? I still aint seeing it ya'll! I did see the video for "Cry" that is a powerful song! Ant to think he recorded that before Sept 11! Powerful. Timely-ahead of time itself! pace!

Spats said: The prince vs MJ is pointless. One is a musical genius and the other is a pervert. MJ's album stunk and tanked. There is no point in releasing another single. Nobody cares.
Then Prince and MJ have much more in common than many would have us believe....

I think Sony was smart to just send Butterflys to radio, plus the Track Masters remix wth Eve. Videos are expensive. The single has blown up in R&B radio. Many artist and companies are opting to release singles and do maybe 2 videos instead of the usual 4, and play those to death, and see how sales go. Perfect example-- Maxwell just released the video for "This Woman's Work" 7 months after "Lifetime." Nelly Furtado just released a new video for "...On The Radio(Remember The Days)." How long have we been hearing "Turn Off The Lights."
