Ever since the BEP added her to the group, their pop capital went up tremendously. They're generating hits left and right, currently wrecking things with "Let's Get It Started." What do you think about Fergie? Do you think she's a true BEP? Is she really down for the group?

For some reason, she stands out to me in a bad way. I don't see her as loyal. It's almost like if someone offered her a solo contract, I feel she would ditch the group so fast and never look back. I think she's just using BEP as a springboard. But, hey, who knows... maybe they're using her a**. LOL.

What do you think about her?

They are representing the Los Angeles music scene in a very lovely way though with the hip hop, latin and west coast rock elements on Elephunk. Shows how diverse LA's music scene is.

BEP have always seemed kinda phony to me. It's as if they're trying way too hard to be diverse, from the group members to their choice in clothing. I accent Andre 3000's eccentricities, because I genuinely think he's strange (in a very good way). Their clownish clothing and their goofy stage movements seem like contrived methods of being individual.

Same goes double for Fergie, or Stacy Ferguson as she was known on that talent breeding ground known as Kids Incorporated and in her first group, Wild Orchid. She's just a wannabe. Her vocal stylings just wreak of tryin'-to-show-she-got-soul. Her singing seems a little more restrained than it was in Wild Orchid (gosh, I hate even typing that stupid name), but she has a tendency to warble on her vocal runs. Drives me batty!

If we ignore them, will they go away? I didn't care for them before she joined, and I don't care about them now with her.

I liked some of their stuff before.it is like a different group now,though.i don't usually like this stuff,but it is a catchy album.it caught me off guard.it's strictly for fun.i like her voice ,but i think she'll ditch them when she gets the chance.

When I was watching Nickalodeon one day and I saw she was appearing on there with the Black Eyed Peas, I was like, "I thought she was just singing on that one song." If you can call it singing. i saw bep backwhen mtv had some kind of college tour around the summer of 2000. i think wyclef was headlining and de la soul played, too. now, don't get me started on de la opening for wyclef...that's a whole different thread. anyway, they were corny then and they still are. though, they did have some chick on stage with them back then. she had a lot more clothes on. either way, the one guy just reminds me of a wyclef jean wannabe. he stole wyclef's style (of dress, i mean). they'll go back to obscurity in about 8 minutes.

Is it me or do will.i.am and K-OS look like identical twins?

she's fucking wack. and their first two albums were alright, but now they sold out. and K-os is much more talented. Kevin plays guitar and writes music, more than they do
