Aerosmith vs. AC/DC These are two of my all-time favorite rock bands. Who do you like better and why? Also, what are your top 10 cuts for each?
In a tough call, I think I have to go with AC/DC because they have really continued to churn out high-quality hard rock with few detours. If Aerosmith had continued to produce the raw sound of their 1970s material following their mid-1980s comeback, I would side with them. The fact is Aerosmith has disappointed me more often than AC/DC. I think Steven Tyler is one of the best rock vocalists of all time, and Angus Young is one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time. Hmm, imagine if they combined efforts?! Here are my top 10s ... I like AC/DC alot, but Aerosmith is clearly the better of the two (although asking that kind of question is like asking if you like Van Halen or Genesis better, 2 great bands, but absolutely nothing in common). Aerosmith has been more original consistantly than AC/DC (they've been playing the same riffs ever since Bon Scott died). If I want your opinion, I'll beat it outta ya! | |
