I SAW BOW WOW WOW TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!! BOW WOW WOW IS BACK, AND I SAW THEM TONIGHT!!!!! IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! So I went back to B.B. King's tonight to catch another great act and one of my favorite bands of all time, Bow Wow Wow. As you may or may not know now, Bow Wow Wow has returned after 6 years on hiatus, and they are still coming on strong. I had such a nice time at the show tonight. It was probably one of the best concerts I've seen in a long time. The ever-so-fine Annabella Lwin (my Buddhist homegrrrrl ), looked very hot onstage, and still had the same energy onstage as she did when she was 14. Leigh Gorman, still one of my favorite bassists of all time, was off the hook. Also, behind the drum kit was none other than No Doubt's own Adrian Young. He was definitely rockin' on the drums. Their new guitarist, Phil Gough, carried on the spirit of their original guitarist, Matthew Ashman. He rocked. The band was great!! Just when I thought it wouldn't get any better than that, it sure did. Attending the show was none other than Joan Jett!!!!! So I got her autograph and a pic.....and then I MET THE BAND!!!!! I got all their autographs and took pictures. It was great. I told them about how they inspired me in High School and I told Annabella that I practice Buddhism too. Also, I asked them about Adam Ant. Leigh told me he's still not well. , but he's gradually getting better. I think we are all anticpiating some new product from the "dandy highwayman", but I'll be praying for him. Anyways, I had a fun time and I met my New Wave heroes in the process. This was just as great as seeing Prince a couple of days ago. It was cool! This is the same Bow Wow Wow of "I Want Candy" fame? Wow, haven't thought of them in ages, thankx for the report, glad to hear they're still kickin' around. And Joan Jett too?! That's another blast from the past! How did she look? Did you get to talk to her? "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

No, not that wack-ass rapper. I'm talking about the British New Wave group who had hits in the early 80's.
Now why in the world would I, New Wave Forever, like Bow Wow anyway? NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
