Where In The Hell Is Mint Condition???

They came along at a time when music really needed a breath of fresh air. They were tight in studio and even tighter on stage. I have all of their albums including the hits collection. The last thing I heard that was "Mint" related was Stokely's remake of "Make Me Say It Again, Girl" which was also tight. Not too people can do an Isley's tune and pull it off nicely. Music is in a very sorry state today. MC! Where are y'all???

I think one of them is working with Ronnie Devo' selling houses, and I swear one of them ask me if I wanted paper or plastic at the grocery store the other day.

Yes I'm aware of that. I'm just curious to know if the group has disbanded permanently.

Well you know Stokley is singing background on "Call My Name" and also featured in the video, so who know...maybe he's joining the NPG? hmmm

First album was mega hot!!! Very, very hard uptempo Newjack numbers and a killer rock track at the end "I wonder if she likes me" or something like that!

"True to thee"
"Are u free"

Those 2 were my jams right there! Unfair they only made big on theri ballads as their uptempo's were tons better! The ballads off "Meant to be mint" r just average really.....

"my dear" from the brilliant "Mo' money" soundtrack (1992) is cool though and I preder that to "Pretty brown eyes2 infact!

Lo key?- another minni band with Jam and lewis connections were also very underated with their debut "Where day at?" Again people only remember slow jam "I got a thang 4 ya", which is good (as were their other slowjams) but songs like "Milkshake" "The shawanda story" and the title track kick Newjack ass too!

Lo-Key? is another favorite band of mine and I still listen to both of their albums as well. I just don't understand why real bands get put on the back burner while manufactured, no talent havin' "artists" blow up like crazy! mad

It's great to hear that they're still together.
