What was the name of that song where Trent was singing something about "fucking the taste out of someone" or something like that? It was that video that had a pig's head, roaches and some other crazy shit going on. Ever so often it would flash up "scene missing."
Anyway, I used to like the beat of that song.

Anyway, I used to like the beat of that song. I think you're amalgamating NIN's "Closer" with Prince's "Let's Pretend We're Married"..."I wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth like an animal"?

Okay, maybe so. But, yeah!!! That's the name of it!!! I knew I would recognize the name of it once I saw it. Doesn't Trent say something about "fucking" something, though?

I'm looking forward to it. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

Anyway, I used to like the beat of that song. Trent has said that Prince was an influence in the recording of "Closer". Maybe that's why you like that song.

Is NIN actually a band or is it just Trent playing everything (like The Tony Rich Project or something like that)? [This message was edited Thu Jul 15 13:20:12 2004 by okaypimpn]

Trent is ultimately NIN. He uses band members in the studio and on tour, but he is the mastermind, and he records many of the sounds himself. Well, you have "Studio NIN" which is just Trent playing everything (most of the time) and "Live NIN" which is the ever changing band... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

if that happened i would cough up a few internal organs. As would I. As you probably already know Ministry and Skinny Puppy ARE touring together confirmed by older news at theninhotline.net: "Ministry will also start a tour with Skinny Puppy on Labor Day, tied in to the Punkvoter.com organization. "Our goal is to register 100,000 kids on the tour," says Jourgensen. "I'll do anything to entice them: sign autographs, give blowjobs, whatever." The Punkvoter shows will run up to the November 9th election." So since the new album isn't expected until 2005, I'd bet on if it is a possibility (and in NIN-land we all know release dates can and often do change) it'd be after Ministry has done a European/overseas tour on their own already. I'd love to hear Al and Trent together, and maybe even get a 1000 Homo DJ's reunion on stage, but I wouldn't have anyone hold their breath until it's confirmed officially. Also-if you haven't picked up the new Ministry you're missing out. Great album.
