because the last time I saw them (2002), the singing mostly sucked.
George for example was only screaming, and I couldn't really feel the FUNK.

Well I just seen George in Stockholm. Have to admit I came away a little disappointed.

The promo posters claimed there would be 24 people on stage. The most I counted was 10, unless this time they were including the roadies and technicians. It also said it would be a 3-hour concert, well it did last longer than that but I think George was absent for at least one hour (probably sleeping or smokin crack )

Second disappointment was there was only one other original P-Funk member up there ie. Bernie Worrel. Most of the others were his grandchildren !!!

The third disappointment was that I cant remember hearing any of the 80's stuff like Atomic Dog, Do Fries Go Wit That Shake, Hey Good Lookin.

The one big surprise I did get though was when I returned from answering the call of nature (during one of the long unimpressive instrumentals) that my friend Erika was up on stage dancing !!! That was definately the highlight for me. Though they did manage to play some of the golden oldies quite well such as Flashlight etc.

I did enjoy the whole experience but I did feel a bit let down as it didnt really compare to when I saw him in Stockholm 99 or Brixton 94. I think hes getting a bit too old now, think he needs to cut down on that crack as well !!!
