YOU HEARD IT FIRST: Kelis & Andre 3000 "Millionaire" next single

Kelis' follow-up to Trick Me will be "Millionaire" featuring Outkast's Andre 3000. Remixes are being planned as well as a full-fledge maxisingle (to be released in the UK and domestically) and music video (which has yet to be shot). Will be released late summer (around labor day). This is the third single from Kelis' popular album "Tasty." "Trick Me" was #1 on UK's airplay charts this week. She's currently touring in Australia and plans to head back to the US late fall.

Thanks, JanFan! This is my favourite song off the album, an excellent choice as a single.

This is the best song on Kelis's Tasty. dancing jig

Andre 3000 definitley looked to Prince for inspiration in writing this song. The beat sounds like an outtake from 1999 (namely "Something in the Water") thumbs up!

I'm surprised how much I liked her album, though I shouldn't be--I've always liked the Neptunes productions. Her first album was okay, but this one is really good! Millionaire is the best song on the album, but I don't think of Prince at all when I hear it.

The beat is quasi-reminscient of some Revolution-era Prince, but that's where it about stops. The rest of the LP, however, still generates play from me. I'm still bumping "Attention" at least 2 times every week. It's a great album. I have to give it a full year before I rate it next to Kaleidoscope and Wanderland though. I think Kaleidoscope is her best album.

Nasty, nasty! She's really pretty, but you'd never see that cuz of being blinded by her golden teeth. I'm blaming Nas for this bad influence!

Again...when you hear "Millionaire" you hear "Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)"

Trust me, Meloh.
