Check Out: The Top 11 Black-Latin Stars In Entertainment

I'm not sure how many Black-Latin(s), The Org has as members, but I am probably one of the few, who speaks loudest about my heritage, which I am tremendously proud of!
Being a Black-Latino, and the fact that I am a product of both Black and Latin Hertiage, makes my Life a bit more interesting...because I come from 3 parts of the world that has a great deal of history...from Africa, Cuban and Dominican Republic...I am also a proud American...are their any Black-Latin(s) on PRINCE.ORG or Latino(s) who would like to Introduce yourself and tell us all where your from?

PLEASE REPRESENT!

I've also created a List of some of Entertainments brightest AFRO-LATIN-AMERICAN STARS...that most of you had no clue were a product of Afro- Latin Heritage:

characteristicly J.Lo isn't Blatino but then again niether is Fat Joe...
hell let's put Ricky Martin too....I never understood where this term Blatino came from...Latino encompasses all racial backgrounds....
from Ebony black to Ivory White and everything inbetween....sound like some American Anglo vs Negro bull crap.....because in my Puerto Rican family we are Moreno,Trigeno,y blanquito....all Boriqua and calling ourselves Boriqua dosen't denounce our African roots, or our Spanish roots,or our Indian roots...anyone who knows the deal knows Boriqua encompasses all aspects of our Racial lineage.....
I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back.
I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there.

'Blatino' is a term that was created by inner city/urban blk and latino mixed kids!
Theres no big deal to using 'blatino' to describe ones-self!

Because to be honest...African American isn't the correct term for all blacks!

Not every black person should be called African American when in fact, blacks in the USA are one of the most mixed races on earth!
So even thou Blacks have african roots like alot of latino's and even some whites, who dominate south africa...their not considered AFRICAN AMERICAN, so using Blatino as a way to describe your racial make up isn't a bad choice.

I'm proud of being black and also damn proud of being latino!

POINT BLANK!

I know where the term came from...but i know it also stems from something deeper also...and I also know about the termnologies and labels and what not...me and my best friend have the arguement all the time she is a black woman of Bajan(Barbados) West Indian decent who despises being called Black as do alot of other "Black" people I've come across from the islands...to me alot of it is political correctness and everybody wants to be represented in which they should...
