Lethal was their absolute best album ever and UTFO stands as one of Full Force's best productions. [This message was edited Mon Jul 12 20:46:52 2004 by psykosoul]

Does anybody remember the Wham Rap Song "Enjoy What You Do"?. Here are the lyrics to refresh your memory:
Wham! Rap Lyrics by Wham! Hey everybody take a look at me, I've got street credibility, I may not have a job, But I have a good time, With the boys that I meet "down on the line" I DON'T NEED YOU So you don't approve, Well, who asked you to? HEY, JERK YOU WORK This guy's got better things to do HELL I ain't never gonna work, get down in the dirt I choose, to cruise Gonna live my life, sharp as a knife I've found my groove and I just can't lose I'm style from head to toe Cool cat flash gonna let you know I'm a soul boy - I'm a dole boy - Take pleasure in leisure, I believe in joy! [CHORUS:] WHAM! BAM! I AM! A MAN! JOB OR NO JOB YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT I'M NOT DO! YOU! ENJOY WHAT YOU DO? IF NOT JUST STOP! DON'T STAY THERE AND ROT! Party nights, and neon lights We hit the floors, we hit the heights Dancing shoes, and pretty girls Boys in leather kiss girls in pearls! Hot - damn! Everybody, let's play! So they promised you a good job - NO WAY! One, two, three, rap! C'mon everybody, DON'T NEED THIS CRAP! [CHORUS] IF YOU'RE A PUB MAN OR A CLUB MAN MAYBE A JET BLACK GUY WITH A HIP HI-FI A WHITE COOL CAT WITH A TRILBY HAT MAYBE LEATHER AND STUDS IS WHERE YOU'RE AT MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY DAY DON'T LET HARD TIMES STAND IN YOUR WAY GIVE A WHAM GIVE A BAM BUT DON'T GIVE A DAMN 'COS THE BENEFIT GANG ARE GONNA PAY! Now reach up high and touch your soul The boys from Wham! will help you reach that goal It's gonna break your mama's heart (so sad) It's gonna break your daddy's heart (too bad) Just throw the dice and take my advice 'Cos I know that you're smart Can you dig this thing? (YEAH!) Are you gonna get down? (YEAH!) Say Wham! WHAM! Say Bam! BAM! [CHORUS x3] Do you wanna work Are you gonna have fun Do you wanna be a jerk Are you gonna stay young Everybody say WHAM! Say BAM! Everybody say WHAM! Say WHAM! BAM! I kinda forgot about this song, but just found it on Morpheus. I only heard this song a few times on local radio, but I remember liking it when it first came out. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

HAHAHA! I just bought "UTFO Hits" about three months ago! I had been looking for their song "Masterbaby" for like seven years and couldn't find it. This is my favorite cut by them cuz it's sounds the most like Full Force and I've always been a big fan of them, too.
The 80's!! And, yeah I remember "Fly Girl", "La Di Da Di", "The Rappin' Duke", "Pee Wee Herman"... I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Hmm, I thought that UTFO did the song "Fly Girl" (at least that's what the track that I d/led from Kazaa said). But it could be incorrect, because peeps are always putting the wrong artist's name on certain tracks. Boogie Boys did "Fly Girl"

I still have the vinyl UTFO album and the 12" of Roxanne, Roxanne.
I also picked up the Boogie Boys lp with "A Fly Girl." Check the profile: Old school hip hop (from Boogie Boys to Whodini) Dr. Ice had a solo lp. I can remember seeing the videos on Rap City. I remember the rumor about The Education Rapper being in prison, but I do not know if that is true. I bought the first UTFO cd on ebay. I believe you can buy their stuff on amazon now. All this talk of 80s rap lately is gonna make me bust out the turntable.

Dang, y'all are taking me back to 7th grade! What's next? "Itching for a Scratch," and "You be Illin'?" "Itchin for a Scratch" - You did it know. I still recall seeing Force Mds in concert after "Love is a House" came out. Walking on Air and Couldn't Care Less are classic Force Mds. I remember them!
I loved that song they made called "Ya Cold Wanna Be With Me"... I WANT A GIRL THAT'LL TURN ME ON WHEN I SAY GO, I WANNA HEAR HER SAY GONE WHEN I SAY LEAVE I WANNA HEAR HER SAY LEFT AND IF I SAY, 'WAS IT GOOD?' SHE BETTER SAY DEF! but then there was this line in there that I've always remembered and found extremely self-hating and evocative of the color-conflicts that go on within the black American community I want a girl with action, 'control' like Janet Jackson I hate the dark, I'm on the light so I can see reaction

"friend is a word we use everyday, most the time we use it in the wrong way,now you could look
the word up agian and agian, but the dictionary dosen't know the meaning of friends. And if you ask me you know I couldn't be much help, cause a friends somebody you judge for yourself. Some are ok and they treat you real cool and mistake your kindness for being a fool. We like to be with some because their funny, others come around when they need some money. Some you grew up with around the way and your still real close to this very day. Homeboys through the winter, summer, spring and fall. And then their's some we wish we never knew at all.And this list gose on agian and agian, but these are the people that we call friends." The reason I see it as such is because as soon as the Educated Rapper says those lines they flash some white French-looking woman dancing around a fence. You know how video mimick the lines in the songs. Like when they say "b**ch" they show some woman on a pole, or if they say "money" they flash some cash. Cheap video techniques.
