Roger was a brilliant guitarist IMO. Check out 'A Chunk Of Sugar' on 'The Many Facets Of Roger' which is an instrumental and shows how good Roger is on guitar and also check out the following:

I Heard It Through The Grapevine
Dancefloor
In The Mix
Be Alright
Midnight Hour
Play Your Guitar Brother Roger
Maxx Axe
Girl Cut It Out on 'Greatest Hits II & More'
Heartbreaker
Curiosity

amongst others

Check out all of Roger's and Zapp's albums cuz they r all excellent!, espically 'The Many Facets Of Roger'.

Roger was a Baaad man on the guitar. Roger was playin in clubs at 14. Makin guest appearances on stage whenever the Ohio Players came 2 town or hookin up with Bootsy b4 Bootsy blew up, they did some JB covers 2gether. Very reminicent of P showin up at Bunkers and guesting on a few songs with Mombo Combo! The scene in Cincinnati was the bomb back in tha day!
