camilleisfunky	Help with a James Brown song!!! Hello orgers Last nite i went to see The Roots at the Montreal Jazz Fest and there was DJ spinning as an opening act. He span a James Brown tune which i loved. All i remember is the words 'funk' or 'funky' and im pretty sure he also said ' i want to take u higher'. Does anybody here know the title of this song??? Thanks PS: the show was amazing!

Are you sure it wasn't Sly and the Family Stone? ("I Want to Take You Higher"?)
