I thought it was purely a "critics record" (you know the type of album all critics love, but the public's like, "uhh, this is sh*te") -- not the case with the Franz Ferdinand record. Everything everyone's saying is true. The album is completely worth it for Take Me Out, The Dark of the Matinée, Auf Achse, Michael, and 40'. The whole album is life though! Check it out. | |

However you want to describe it, it's definitely worth hearing. I've been hearing a lot of folks say that it's a mix between Bowie and Talking Heads, which, needless to say, should be a no-brainer for me to pick up.  I'll have to check it out soon. | |

It's official. I will probaly never like Franz Ferdinand. I've heard too many people telling me I HAVE to get it cause I will LOVE it. Which automatically makes me suspicious. Too bad really. Maybe in 5 years I can re-discover them. |
