THICKE

Has anyone heard of THICKE? If you haven't you should defenetly check him out. His music is similiar but not quite like Prince. THICKE writes all of his own songs and he plays piano, guitar, and drums and other various intruments.
Just so you can kinda get some history on him... He has written songs for Brandy, Christina Aguilera, Mya, Usher, and many moore. His 1st single was "When I Get You Alone" which came out near the end of 2002. His debut album "A Beautiful World" was released April 15, 2003 and although it has got amazing reviews it has only sold around 50,000 copies due to no promotion at all. He released a 2nd single called "Brand New Jones" in summer 2003. He is working on his 2nd album right now and has written 2 songs for USHER's latest album. Rolling Stone said that THICKE is the closest thing this generation will come to the next Stevie Wonder. THICKE is a blend of Prince, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, & Jimi Hendrix.
here is his official website www.thicke.net

The Rolling Stone staff has several crackheads writing for them. nod I don't believe dude is the next Stevie but he's definitely got something going for him. Unfortunately, everyone took a nap when Cherry Blue Skies/Beautiful World was released and it was one of the best albums of 2003. Best tracks: Oh Shooter, Be Alright, Cherry Blue Skies, Stupid Things.

he is cute...

he has a nice voice..but like Remy Shand, Alicia Keyes and Norah Jones his album is competely overhyped..there are a couple clunkers and the whole of the album doesnt match the potential talent...

the best from all the above mentioned artist are probably a few years away....then watch out!! we all will be amazed....

think beck....and radiohead...them guys would have disappeared if they were overhyped when they first came out...

He is the son of Alan Thicke from " Growing Pains ". I haven't listened to his own work, but he can't be no worse than Jamiriquoi. Hmmm... maybe confused .
