I always kinda liked her songs when I heard them on the radio, but I never thought of buying her albums. But after seeing her in concert I have to say that she's is a very talented performer and she has a very good band. Her songs sound much better when performed live and I was impressed by the quality and instant accessability of her songs. Does she write them all herself? I wonder if others here have seen her perform and I would like to hear their opinions.

And does anyone know if Prince ever talked about her? After all she is one of Canada's biggest stars at the moment...

She does write her own songs. Her first album is really good. Her second album has a different vibe. It's ok.

I was thinking about attending her concert in my hometown she played some weeks ago, but then I didn't. Seems like I missed a good show.
I think I remember that I read somewhere (the org???) that Prince mentioned Nelly in an interview not too long ago. They talked about the cold weather in Canada which is not so cold compared to Minneapolis and then I think he mentioned some Canandian artists including her. I hope someone can verify that and give you a link
