JC Chasez is it just me or has his solo album, 'prince influenced' written al over it? I mean 'all day I dream about sex' sounds like it's stolen from dirty mind and the sound of the whole cd is very simmilar to prince's pré-PR days. anyone else noticed?
greetz Kev1n It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!

there was a number of comments in the press about the princey feel to many of the songs on this cd. I actually really like about 80% of the disc, it's too bad it bombed...

I have to admit it on this one. I definitely can hear "Prince-like" songs all over this album. And I can't stand when people want to hear PRINCE in everything!
Anyway...I've read only good things about this album. Was curious to hear it and about a week ago my friend gave me a copy he got that he didn't want. I was blown away. This is a great album!!! Unfortunately the less talented Nsync-er got the attention. (don't get me started. ) So back to the topic... Yeah,I can definitely here some Prince influence. Ok..I've gotta put it on now. Great post!

i LOVE this cd, actually playing it right now.
100 WAYS: his voice is very layered, seems like he is singing three different lines: one in the left speaker, one on the right and one in the middle. yes SIR!

Because "Dear Goodbye", "100 Ways", and "Build My World" make up for that song. Trust me, his ballads are fantastic and his album has soo many different sounds and beats. He's got some dance hall sounds, rock, hip-hop, techno, and R & B sounds on this album. It's like a tasty jambalaya. SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"
